The Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP) is specifically designed to help people with disabilities and their families save for the future. This new Federal initiative is delivered by the Government of Canada. 

The RCD offers free services to people with disabilities and their family to open RDSP accounts and to answer all related questions. We provide one-on-one assistance over the phone, in person and via email. 

Services can be delivered in different languages including English, Cantonese or Mandarin; French, Punjabi and Vietnamese languages are available upon request.

Some facts about RDSP:

• Having an RDSP does not impact Federal Benefits
• In BC, money in an RDSP does not impact existing provincial social assistance support programs
• You may be eligible to receive annual grants of up to $3,500 depending on your contribution and family income<
• Even with no financial contribution, you may be eligible to receive up to $1,000 every year of up to 20 years

有關註冊殘障人士儲蓄計劃的部分要點：

• 持有RDSP不會影響聯邦政府的福利；
• 在卑詩，當殘障人士申請省政府殘障津貼 (Provincial Disability Benefits) 時，政府不會將註冊殘障人士儲蓄計劃列為殘障人士的資產及收入，所以不會影響他們申請殘障福利的資格；
• 視乎你的供款及家庭收入，你每年可獲多達＄3,500的加拿大殘障人士儲蓄補助金 (Canada Disability Savings Grant)；
• 就算沒有供款，你亦可能有資格領取加拿大殘障儲蓄債券每年多達$1000，最多20年。
