Learn to be “Food Safe”!

Food SafeThe Youth Council organized on Saturday, July 18th 2011 a workshop on Food Safety.

Chef Mickey Tse came at the RCD to teach the participants how to be “food-safe”.

Participants had the opportunity to learn how to prepare food safely by avoiding cross-contamination. They also discovered at what temperature dishes have to be cook or refrigerate.

Chef Mickey finally showed them how to carry plates, glasses and how to serve food safely.

Food SafeAt the end of the day, everybody had to undergo the Food Safe Level 1 exam.

Ian, Sally, Jeremy, Shelton, Patrick, Kevin, Ben, Nathalie and Cécile all passed!
